plasma profile could disable it in kdelibs using USE=-semantic-desktop, while kdesdk-strigi-analyzer:4 and systemsettings:4 will probably need to depend on it while they're in portage. patch works for me so far and is already used by Fedora and openSUSE.

We will remove app-misc/strigi completely. systemsettings:4 has now a strigi-free version in tree.
