Using the ebuild to install does not patch the kernel for the mki-adapter.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge win4lin-sources
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
The patch is downloaded but not applied to the kernel. I had to patch the kernel
by hand. There were no errors. It applied just fine.

Expected Results:  
I expected the patch to apply without having to patch by hand.

Here is a ebuild that does work .. I thought I'd submitted a similar bug/patch
a couple weeks ago  .. seems to have been lost maybe

same bug as Bug 53729 .. problem still is not fixed .. the ebuild submitted above includes the newest security patches too .. It's still a hack ..

still is not fixed for version 2.6.7-r4

Bug 58008 also is the same bug/problem temporary hack fix is now in portage as recorded in bug 58008  .. hack is the only one that works at the moment so far as I know.  Thanks to Tim Yamin for adding it to the ebuild until the real fix is in.

This is now fixed properly with patch level support in kernel-2.eclass so I am closing this bug as FIXED.
