Are you interested in proxy-maintaining this? https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:Proxy_Maintainers
Yes, but it depends from how much time is required for this.
Well, that depends on a number of factors. More than likely, you'll be spending a fair bit of time preparing the initial ebuild, getting it up for form. That moves at whatever pace you choose to move at. Beyond that, your time required is a function of the bugs that might crop up and whatever maintenance might be required when version bumping. I can't really predict those. If you are still interested in proxy-maintaining this, I'll loop in the Proxy Maintainers team.
Yes, I'm still interested.

Helpful resources for working on your ebuild include the Gentoo developers manual [1], the #gentoo-dev-help IRC channel, the #gentoo-proxy-maint IRC channel, and the proxy-maint@gentoo.org email alias, and of course, this bug. I reassign the ticket, because there was no activity for a while. But ale5000 is still welcome as proxied maintainer and we assign the ticket back to him, if things continue.
