Description mercuriete 2016-03-20 12:05:55 UTC
gentoo-sources-4.1.15-r1 dissapeared from portage.

the systems suggests me to downgrade the kernel to version 4.1.12

Is this situation normal?

why you delete the newest stable version of the kernel?

This is the offending commit:
https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=ac2e2c329145fe83037f8081018e502a953ab50d

Step for reproduce

1. do a emerge --deep --update --newuse --with-bdeps=y world --ask

2 output

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild  NS    ] sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-4.1.12 [4.1.15-r1] USE="symlink -build -experimental -kdbus"

Thanks in advance.

Same problem here.

# emerge -avuND1 --with-bdeps=y --quiet-build @world

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild  NS    ] sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-4.1.12:4.1.12::gentoo [4.1.15-r1:4.1.15-r1::gentoo] USE="symlink -build -experimental -kdbus" 398 KiB
