Description Marc Heerdink 2004-07-20 10:08:04 UTC
The USE flag description for "encode" is "Adds support for MEncoder or LaME encoder, wherever applicable". Lame support is required for sound-juicer to support mp3 encoding, but gst-plugins-lame isn't merged when the encode USE flag is used. I'll attach a new ebuild that fixes this issue.

hmm this was wrongly assigned

encode is a silly use flag here, any plugin for s-j 'encode's . I don't know who adds such a non-descriptive USE flag to the list anyway.

i'm in favor of removing it
