emerge --info

Attempting to compile app-arch/lzop-1.03 on x32 results in a build failure:

miniacc.h:6792: Error: operand type mismatch for `pop'

There is a patch available for that here:
http://patchwork.openembedded.org/patch/90967/

My emerge --info and the build logs are attached.

Was this issue ever reported upstream?
Comment 3 Dainius Masiliūnas 2016-08-07 17:27:50 UTC
I'm not sure. I haven't; the Yocto project wrote the patch, but I don't know if they reported it.
Comment 4 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2016-08-10 06:35:46 UTC
the patch in OE says it's been submitted to upstream, so i don't think we need to do it ourselves too
