Comment 4 Ian Delaney (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2016-01-08 01:18:22 UTC
so this is seen as an issue with compiling under gcc 5?
Comment 5 Danny Robson 2016-04-21 08:13:02 UTC
It appears to be related to function inlining. Adding '-Dinline= ' to CFLAGS to globally disable inlining under gcc-5.3.0 allows the package to build successfully (tested using package.env). Extraordinarily trivial tests seem to suggest the binary runs ok.

ui - might be the root cause for a certain amount of other bug reports too, or ?

I haven't seen this particular issue in other packages (or at least not enough that I recall) but it's not out of the question.
