Needed by mongodb 3.2.
Comment 1 Tomáš Mózes 2015-12-16 11:51:55 UTC
Tried using the latest ebuild, works by removing asio-1.4.8_declarations.patch.
Comment 2 Ultrabug gentoo-dev 2015-12-27 17:01:35 UTC
FYI Tomas, AFAIK there is no flag on mongodb scons config to use the system provided asio lib, so we are stuck with the bundled one for now

Comment 4 Brian Evans (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2016-03-02 21:40:42 UTC
Without this new version, anything that builds with asio + openssl (or libressl) will fail due to no SSLv2 which was fixed in 1.6.0

Hi! I wanted to create a version bump request for asio-1.11.0 but have found this one. Is this bug named incorrectly? Should I create a new one?
