Upstream fixed it long time ago with:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/banshee/patch/?id=33f8055c2951882778d9a112f1aaa2281bfef14a

But only in 'master'

As it looks to take years to release 2.10 version, maybe the patch could be backported to 2.6 :/
