Description Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2015-11-06 13:48:29 UTC
Do we really need to keep this package (dead since 2008) still in the tree? It's one of the last consumers of syck (the other one is another dead package from 2003 and the python module that is also obsolete for a long time)

Maybe we could treeclean it

Thanks

No opinion, however, for users' benefit there is a replacement:

In that case I would CC treecleaners then, ok?

I made a post to gentoo-user@ asking for users:

https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-user/message/a0af101b5eff40e92f8974f36c290460

Please give it a few days, but then go ahead and CC treecleaners if no one is using it.

No response to that thread in gentoo-user ML.

We certainly don't need it that I know of.

Adding treecleaners
