Description Juergen Rose 2015-11-01 16:27:35 UTC
I just try to play a little bit with opencl. It seems, that wings does not compile, if opencl is not installed. I have a system with hybrid graphics:

root@lynx:/usr/local/portage/media-gfx/wings(36)# lspci | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller (rev 09)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF108M [NVS 5400M] (rev a1)
root@lynx:/usr/local/portage/media-gfx/wings(37)# grep ^VIDEO /etc/make.conf
VIDEO_CARDS="nouveau displaylink"

If I set opencl in /etc/make.conf, 'emerge -uvDN world' tries to install ati-drivers. Is this to to be expected?

root@lynx:/root(39)# emerge -pv --update --newuse --deep --with-bdeps=y --backtrack=30 --exclude "cross-armv7a-hardfloat-linux-gnueabi/gcc h5py grass root-docs" @world

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
