Been trying to remove previously failed merges using -P, --purge (as per manpages), and --purge-tracker (full command was sudo emaint -P merges, for example) and it simply doesn't work, outputting the error: 'ERROR: module 'merges' does not have option '--purge-tracker' merges module options: -P, --purge-tracker Removes the list of previously failed merges. WARNING: Only use this option if you plan on manually fixing them or do not want them re-installed.' emaint: error: Incorrect number of arguments Thoughts?
*** Bug 566832 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Fixed in commit: https://gitweb.gentoo.org/proj/portage.git/commit/?id=bff7a405f648ee1fbaad46933558f31bcd3c15fa I've renamed it back to --purge since the plugin system/cli is not handling hyphenated options correctly.
Released in 2.2.27.
