Thanks for the tracker, only one suggestion. When opening the bug report, could you treecleaners there and inform the maintainer in the comment about that?

Something like "CCing treecleaners as maybe this cannot be fixed otherwise"

The problem is that we cannot really go ahead and mask for removal all of them just now... we need to, at least, inform the relevant maintainer, give them some time (well.... usually until we have time to go through our pending list) and, after that, mask for removal.

Otherwise conflicts will probably arise as some maintainers could disagree or so (yes... treecleaners job is often a bit "controversial" if not done with a lot of verbosity and giving timeouts for letting others to prevent removals)
