Description Jonas Stein gentoo-dev 2015-08-02 15:41:16 UTC
No proper license for this package could be found in the source package (upstream)

The ebuild is set to LICENSE=BSD.
Comment 1 Ulrich Müller gentoo-dev 2015-08-02 18:10:10 UTC
There are three possible solutions (ordered by what would be my preference):
1. Contact the upstream author and ask what the package's license is.
2. Change to LICENSE="all-rights-reserved" and add RESTRICT="mirror bindist".
3. Remove the package. (Last upstream release was 15 years ago, no reverse dependencies, no Gentoo maintainer. It still builds and seems to work just fine, though.)

For a start, I've sent an e-mail message to the author.
