On a 64 bit system with multilib support enabled, sys-auth/nss-pam-ldapd doesn't build 32 bit libraries. When using ldap authentication, 32 bit apps like acroread needs a 32 bit version of libnss_ldap.so.2.

This ebuild works on my system and successfully builds a 32 bit version. Have a look at:

for the full ebuild.
