This is the only package preventing us from dropping dev-python/reportlab-2.6 that is one of the last packages still pulling the obsolete media-fonts/ttf-bitstream-vera

Is there any upstream report of progress to try to port this to use the current reportlab-3 versions? :/

looks like some people are able to run fixing the check to be ok with 3.x versions too...

FWIW, the restriction to <dev-python/reportlab-3 seems to be a totally useless leftover from previous versions. With that line removed from DEPEND, dev-python/xhtml2pdf-0.0.6-r1 builds and works out of the box with dev-python/reportlab-3.1.44-r2 here.
