Description William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2015-04-28 01:35:11 UTC
All,

I upgraded to this version of openssh and found that the server would
drop connections from the Teraterm ssh client.

In researching the issue, I came across this thread:

http://lists.mindrot.org/pipermail/openssh-unix-dev/2015-April/033794.html

It looks like it is an issue with the sshd server and upstream took the
patch, so are you willing to do a revbump and apply it for us on Gentoo?

i'm assuming you mean this commit:
https://github.com/openssh/openssh-portable/commit/d8f391caef62378463a0e6b36f940170dadfe605

if it's in upstream, then generally we don't mind backporting. this one certainly looks benign/straight forward.

should be all set now in the tree; thanks for the report!
