LZO 2.08 is unusable on sparc because of an issue with unaligned memory access. This was found when lzo compression was breaking openvpn: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=532088 This issue was worked around in version 2.09 so please bump the version. Thanks!
