Description Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2015-02-07 11:38:39 UTC
I know it's too soon as ebuild was added few days ago... but opening this for tracking purposes and to remember to CC arches here when we CC for ffmpeg-2.2

Thanks

Any problems with me CCing arches here? :)

No, the gui/sound selection still needs tweaking. It's possible to end up with a configuration that you think should work but because of the complicated configure script and the combination of use flags, doesn't work that way you'd think.
Comment 3 Ben de Groot (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2015-03-29 00:29:41 UTC
Can we get a resolution here? This is currently blocking security stabilization of ffmpeg-2.2. If this can't be made to work, please mask it.
Comment 4 Ben de Groot (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2015-04-11 10:03:44 UTC
We should probably just package.use.stable.mask the ffmpeg useflag here, so we can proceed with ffmpeg-2.2 stabilization.

go for it. I haven't had a chance to fix up the ebuild yet but it's still on my list.

vice-2.4.20 is the new stable target so 2.4.16 won't go stable.
