Created attachment 395444 [details, diff] Catalyst stage3 target overrides I can't subscribe to the gentoo-catalyst mailing list right now, so I am attaching this patch as a bug. It is the first of three patches I have to fix a few minor things up in catalyst. This patch, if accepted, has to be applied first. This patch adds missing definitions to override the CHOST, CFLAGS, CXXFLAGS, and LDFLAGS variables in a stage3 spec file. I know some of these are output into the /etc/portage/make.conf during the stage2 build, but there are instances where one may wish to still override them in stage3. See Bug #434268 as an example (which might be considered a duplicate of this one in a sense, but I'll make it a blocker for now).
this an more is already supported in master and will not be backported. hopefully we will have a release soon, at least as a test.
