Description Sebastian Pipping gentoo-dev 2015-01-23 18:43:33 UTC
Hi!

I noticed that dev-util/shellcheck does come with a man page (shellcheck.1.md) explaining things that "shellcheck --help" does not. Please compile and install the man page. Thanks!

Can you give this a try? I made a few other changes as well so I don't want to just commit it immediately. I've re-enabled the test suite so please try with FEATURES=test too.

I didn't realize this wasn't in the main tree!

I just pushed another revbump to the overlay to avoid the pandoc dependency.

If it's feasable: me vote for moving it to the main tree. This tool deserves exposure to a larger audience.

> Can you give this a try?

r2 installs a man page now. Excellent, thank you!

> I've re-enabled the test suite so please try with FEATURES=test too.

1 of 1 test suites (1 of 1 test cases) passed.

Thanks for testing, I've opened a pull request to see if we can get upstream to ship it:

Thumbs up for going upstream!
