I can't emerge app-cdr/cdemu-0.6_beta because of sandbox problem. BTW, that thing I must do 'su -' to su from one root account to other is very weird too - I didn't need to do it for any other package. Oh ... Do gentoo support "normal" devices on ext2, or only devfs & udev ? It emerged without other problems when I touch /dev/.devfs before ...
heh yeah i never thought of the case where devfs/udev arent installed i'll fix it upstream since i maintain the pkg it'll be fixed in the next release of cdemu when i get around to making it :/
