Description Josiah Ritchie (flickerfly) 2004-06-07 17:30:05 UTC
http://packages.gentoo.org/ebuilds/?regex-markup-0.9.0 is a program that claims to be "A tool to color syslog files". That would be a nice touch to make browsing the log files even easier. Maybe a color coded by severity, or better, a bit more markup in the config file to allow for this to be entirely configurable with maybe just a field to to state a color that is preset with a name.

I don't know what's possible, but would like to see this feature integrated to make this great idea even better. I'm really looking forward to this making my reviews of log files a suddenly less mundane and time consuming task. Thanks for wasabi!

Sorry about this not being in the wasabi area, but there doesn't seem to be one.
Feel free to move this as seems appropriate.
