Description Raphaël Barrois 2014-11-06 14:31:42 UTC
Hi,

Could you please add my personnal overlay to layman's list of overlays (http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/overlays/repositories.xml) ?
It is hosted as a git repositories in http://overlay.xelnor.net/overlay.git

A short description is available at http://overlay.xelnor.net/ ; it mostly contains ebuilds for programs I've written or for tools that aren't yet in portage or sunrise.

Thanks in advance.

Added. I'm sorry it took this long.

Oh, one more thing: could you please consider providing the repository using non-dumb transport? Pushing it over regular HTTP server disallow shallow clones, and will be broken with new Portage versions.

Hi Michał,

Thanks for adding it to layman's repository!

Regarding your request, would providing a "git://" version of the overlay qualify as "non-dumb transport"?

I've just made my overlay available as git://overlay.xelnor.net/overlay.git.

Thanks a lot.

Yes, that's the smart protocol. Thanks a lot, updated the URI now.
