Description Juergen Rose 2014-09-30 15:03:42 UTC
'journalctl -o cat -xb' shows:
...
[system] Activating systemd to hand-off: service name='org.freedesktop.ColorManager' unit='colord.service'
[system] Failed to activate service 'org.freedesktop.ColorManager': timed out
[system] Activating systemd to hand-off: service name='org.freedesktop.ColorManager' unit='colord.service'
[system] Successfully activated service 'org.freedesktop.systemd1'

If I try to start colord manually, I get:

Maybe there is a relation to:

Comment 2 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2014-10-02 10:01:58 UTC
It starts fine for me, please retry with 1.2.3 and, if still failing, try running /usr/libexec/colord to see if we see anything interesting in its output
Comment 3 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2014-10-02 10:03:14 UTC
I run dbus-1.8.8
