Description Eugene Cormier 2014-09-24 02:45:38 UTC
I'm not using mate, but I want to use pluma. Pluma compiles/installs fine, but when I run it I get the error: (pluma:18302): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.mate.lockdown' is not installed
This is fixed by emerging the package mate-base/mate-desktop, after which the program starts correctly

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. on a clean system without mate, emerge pluma
2. run pluma
3.
Actual Results:
the program fails to start with the following error: (pluma:18302): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.mate.lockdown' is not installed

Expected Results:
it should run correctly

I just encountered this problem when trying to use pluma-1.8.1.
