Hi, inside cinder package when is enable iscsi use flag than portage inject iscsitarget package but this dependency could be replace by sys-block/tgt. Iscsitarget isn't supported a lot and doesn't work with kernel >3.11. Tgtd daemon works fine as alternative. So, could be a valid solution to fix iscsi use flags dependency with an OR condition or replace directly iscsitarget module with sys-block/tgt. Moreover, currently cinder package doesn't support systemd services files, I just create these files for my environment and I will load this files to my githup layman soon. Could be usefull add these files directly to ebuild. Bye

Hi Matthew, thanks for reply. About systemd .service files I opened a new issue #536474. About use of tgt I create a bash script to use with udev for permit correct use of iscsi disks with same syntax used on nova module (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1386348 ). Could be helpful open a new issue to nova module for add this scripts ? Bye
