While trying to upgrade my system (gnome is part of my world), the webkit-gtk needed an upgrade. The compilation fails.

build.log is needed. You can compress it with bzip2 -9 to get it tiny
Since ha has gcc-4.8 installed I guess it is a dupe of 513386
Created attachment 381346 [details] build.log
(In reply to Agostino Sarubbo from comment #3) > Since ha has gcc-4.8 installed I guess it is a dupe of 513386 Are you sure? I've never changed the default gcc to 4.8.x release and the issue 513386 describes that the problem doesn't appear using 4.7.x.... ------ gcc-config -l [1] x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-4.7.3 * [2] x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-4.8.3 bpacheco02 ~ # gcc --version gcc (Gentoo 4.7.3 p1.2, pie-0.5.5) 4.7.3 Copyright (C) 2012 Free Software Foundation, Inc. It's a dupe indeed. The problem is that, even compiling with gcc-4.7, libs from 4.8 are being used by error *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 513386 ***
Thanks a lot. It worked. Just change the gcc profile and no more issues while linking.
