kwalletmanager-5 has been adapted for coinstallability. The binary was renamed to kwalletmanager5. That means it doesn't need to block kwalletmanager-4 anymore. Reproducible: Always
There is still other collisions that need handling: * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/oxygen48-status-wallet-open.png * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/key-selection.png * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/kwallet-applications.png * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/wallet-encryption-selection.png * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/first-open-request.png * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/index.cache.bz2 * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/save-login-information.png * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/oxygen48-status-wallet-closed.png * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/openwallet-request.png * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/error-nokey.png * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/kwallet-edit.png * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/application-request-to-open-wallet.png * /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kwallet/kwalletmanager.png * /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.kde.kcontrol.kcmkwallet.policy * /usr/share/dbus-1/system-services/org.kde.kcontrol.kcmkwallet.service
I checked. those images seem to be installed only with USE=handbook, that can be handled by a USE dependency. workoft plasma-nm # diff /var/tmp/portage/kde-base/kwalletmanager-4.12.5/image/usr/share/dbus-1/system-services/org.kde.kcontrol.kcmkwallet.service /usr/share/dbus-1/system-services/org.kde.kcontrol.kcmkwallet.service 3c3 < Exec=/usr/lib64/kde4/libexec/kcm_kwallet_helper --- > Exec=/usr/lib64/libexec/kauth/kcm_kwallet_helper Neither of the kcm_kwallet_helper exist. I'm not sure what they would do, but I do think we can just ignore that and delete one of the files. The other colliding file only differs in certain strings like description xml:lang="nl">Portefeuille-instellingen opslaan</description> I don't think this would cause any loss of functionality and the files are interchangeable.
Until it is not fixed upstream, i don't see a use case to remove the blocker.
