Even though this is about stabilizing a virtual, the effect is NONTRIVIAL. Please test a lot before stabilizing! Details follow. Right now, because of screwed up and unmaintained virtuals, on every stable system (running perl-5.16) a version of ExtUtils::Install is pulled in that originally comes from perl-5.10 (!). That version shadows the bundled one. ExtUtils::Install is part of the Perl build system. Updating the virtual from current stable to =virtual/perl-ExtUtils-Install-1.580.0-r1 will force removal of the old version (perl-core/ExtUtils-Install-1.540.0), which means that the bundled version of perl-5.16 is used. Tests should include re-installing many perl packages and checking for abnormalities. Thanks a lot. Please TEST and stabilize =virtual/perl-ExtUtils-Install-1.580.0-r1 Target: all stable arches
