I found an error in the script /usr/portage/net-ftp/ftp/ftp-0.17-r1.ebuild that
blocked my building of 'emerge system' during an fresh installation. The emerge
system exited complaining about a non-existant "./configure". To correct the
problem you should cut out the "netkit-" string from $S.
