Description teri-aka TrAns13nT 2002-07-16 22:12:20 UTC
when xcdroast is ran it says this:

** WARNING **: Invalid mkisofs version 1.13 found.
        Expecting at least version 1.15a17
Start xcdroast with the -n option to override (not recommended!)

and when started with the -n option anyhow no cd burns properly, all fail, even
all simulation runs. I've tried making a new ebuild for mkisofs-1.15a17 but when
attempting to digest it says this:

!!! Name error in 1.15a17
!!! Error: PF is null; exiting.

I have also attempted to find the mkisofs-1.15a17 at the location that
mkisofs-1.13 is located at accord to it's ebuild andf it's no where to be found,
even though a readme at that site
(ftp://ftp.fokus.gmd.de/pub/unix/cdrecord/mkisofs/) says that 1.13 is out of
date and where the newest version could be found I still remaind unsuccesful in
finding it. Well, y'all have fun figuring this one out ;-)

okay teri, try that:

unmerge mkisofs ("emerge -C mkisofs")
and merge cdrtools. looks like mkisofs is obsolete.
