The monotorrent ebuild contains a strange character in the version string. It is not visible using "emerge -s" but using eix this clears the screen. Output from eix filtered by less: # eix torrent | less * dev-dotnet/monotorrent Available versions: 0.80^t Homepage: http://projects.qnetp.net/projects/show/monotorrent Description: Monotorrent is an open source C# bittorrent library I am unable to find the reason for this among the portage files. I remains after sync today (June 6, 11:00 CET). Regards, Erik

No, it doesn't. > It is not visible using "emerge -s" but using eix this clears the screen. Clears the screen? The version string is 0.80 and eix prefixes an asterisk and suffixes ^t like this: *0.80^t > Output from eix filtered by less: > # eix torrent | less > > * dev-dotnet/monotorrent > Available versions: 0.80^t > Homepage: http://projects.qnetp.net/projects/show/monotorrent > Description: Monotorrent is an open source C# bittorrent library Your output looks exactly like mine. What is wrong with it? > I remains after sync today (June 6, 11:00 CET). The file gentoo-x86/dev-dotnet/monotorrent/monotorrent-0.80.ebuild hasn't changed since May 2012, over two years ago.
