build.log

Now that gcc:4.7 is ia64 stable, I've switched from gcc-4.6.3 and rebuilt my whole tree. While systemtap was successfully built with gcc:4.6, it's failing with gcc:4.7.

From build.log, relevant part seems to be:

cache.cxx: In function ‘void add_script_to_cache(systemtap_session&)’:
cache.cxx:94:1: error: ‘asm’ operand has impossible constraints

No better with gcc:4.8 that's now ia64 stable.

Just to correct myself for future references: gcc:4.8 isn't ia64 stable at all at the moment!

BTW, systemtap-2.5 still fails to emerge with gcc:4.7 while it's fine with gcc:4.6.

Looks like this one is easy to fix. Attached narrowing tweak that makes build pass here.
