With libgda-5.0.1, vala support was disabled because of compile errors. We are now a few versions further at libgda-5.2.2, and at least I could compile libgda-5.2.2 with vala support (added back all commented out vala-related lines in ebuild, added flags with use_with(vala $flag): --enable-gda-gi --enable-gdaui-gi --enable-vala --enable-gdaui-vala --enable-vala-extensions). The only other thing I had to do is change the API version of vapigen in configure.ac to 0.22 (this is what I have installed, maybe I should use 0.18 instead). Therefore, I would like to ask you if you could consider re-enabling vala support for libgda. Reproducible: Always
