Description Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2014-04-05 06:25:03 UTC
Would be interesting to stabilize a newer version as they fix some bugs over current stable and also add systemd support ;)

Thanks!

Good plan. Paolo, any objections?
Comment 2 Paolo Pedroni 2014-04-07 06:23:30 UTC
I'd say no. Upstream deems it still a beta (see first message at <http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=19182>. Next version (whenever it will be) will be a release candidate.

If the stable request is due to the systemd unit files you can retrofit them to current stable (oh, and BTW we should punt 28.3 and 28.3-r1 from the tree).
