Output from configure phase:

checking for DVBPSI... no
configure: error: Package requirements (libdvbpsi < 1.0) were not met:

Requested 'libdvbpsi < 1.0' but version of libdvbpsi is 1.1.2

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables DVBPSI_CFLAGS
and DVBPSI_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

>=media-libs/libdvbpsi-1 works ok with all recent VLC versions, so patch was removed from tree.
