Description Simon Strandman 2004-05-06 13:50:01 UTC
Every time I log in my system tries to insert the floppy.ko module twice. And since I dont have a floppy it fails. This only happens when I log in as a user, not root. This is very annoying since it makes the login take about 6-7 seconds.

From the log:

The fix is to compile the kernel without support for floppy disks (only really old macs have them anyway). If you have troubles compiling a kernel, feel free to ask for support on our mailinglists or #gentoo-ppc on irc.freenode.net
