When I try to emerge ati-drivers on the 2004.1 x86 Universal LiveCD, it fails on app-arch/cabextract-0.6 which does not appear to be on the CD. I am not connected to a network because the gentoo install doesn't detect and/or have drivers for the Dell TrueMobile 1300 in my laptop. I shouldn't need a network to emerge this common package anyways, I don't think. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go through install for x86 universal liveCD without a network connection 2. after building the kernel, emerge ati-drivers Actual Results: A bunch of dependencies are resolved, and dependant packages are built. After unzip-5.50-r2 is built, it tries to emerge cabextract-0.6 from the network because it is not on the liveCD, and fails. Expected Results: all the dependencies for the common modules (nvidia-drivers, ati-drivers, etc) should be on the liveCD if possible to allow for a totally disconnected install.
