checking for XML::Parser... configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for intltool

Manually emerging dev-perl/XML-Parser fixes the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge x11-misc/shared-mime-info-1.2-r1
Actual Results:  
Build failure.

Expected Results:  
Build shouldn't fail.

DEPEND="dev-perl/XML-Parser" needed in ebuild.

Did you check if XML-Parser was already installed before you did this?  

I expect the reason for the failure had to do with a need to run "perl-cleaner --all"
