make it python3 compatible

the patch attached makes it possible to build docs w/ python3 as well, so PYTHON_COMPAT could be extended

digiKam depends heavily on exiv2, for example for video files support (http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/digikam-users/2014-May/019242.html).
So please move it to stable.
