Description William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2013-12-11 20:09:34 UTC
This bug came to us from Debian. They are requesting that we rename the
rc binary due to a package they have which has a binary with the same
name. [1]

I am fine with doing this, but we will need to find a way to do a
smoothe transition in Gentoo, so I am taking it to the -dev list.

Comment 2 William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2013-12-13 01:41:52 UTC
The binary was renamed to openrc in commit 7b5fa01.
The change will be included in OpenRC-0.13.
