When I'm trying to establish a vpn pptp connection with my internet provider using pptpclient, it always generates outgoing call request with call id equals to 0. Some routers are misconfigured to work wis such call id and I always receive no reply for this call request Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Launch pptp and try to connect to vpn server 2. 3. Actual Results: No reply for "Outgoing Call Request" package Expected Results: Receive an "Outgoing Call Reply" package

According to upstream repo[1], outgoing call request ID can not be configured and it's always equals to zero. I suggest you to report this bug upstream[2]. You can also try to patch this manually. Code that you should patch is at the beginning of pptp_call_open function at pptp_ctrl.c.
