Package needs systemd equivalents of:

/etc/init.d/ovs-controller
/etc/init.d/ovs-vswitchd
/etc/init.d/ovsdb-server

I try to migrate ovsdb-server init.d script but I cannot due this not working:
 # /usr/sbin/ovsdb-server --monitor --remote=punix:/var/run/openvswitch/db.sock --remote="db:Open_vSwitch,manager_options"
ovsdb-server: "db:Open_vSwitch,manager_options": invalid syntax

I am misinterpreting what init.d is currently running?

That should be fixed now, check the changelog of the ebuild.
