There's a rewritten version ( Called spca5xx ) which supports more webcams than the old version ( And support for 2.6.x kernels ).

ARCH conflict was resolved this way in svgalib, use same approach here too :)

There's:

spca50x/ spca5xx/

I think you're looking for spca50x...  Need to make sure.

yes, there is *now*, but not at the time bug was opened :)

so i guess this bug can be safely closed
