crypt fails, looks like -lcrypt isn't used when building the crypt module
Comment 5 Marko Vendelin 2013-09-28 08:16:33 UTC
Is there any way to fix it? Should I force -lcrypt somehow?

Since there is no resolution to the bug, it shows up during bootstraping as well. Same bug was reproduced when trying to bootstrap gentoo prefix on Ubuntu 10.04 (stage 3). To resolve the issue, I had to mask python 3 in package,mask:

# Python 3 is not needed and has a bug in compiling it as for 3.3.2-r2
>=dev-lang/python-3.0

I think I fixed this a couple of weeks ago when I did a bootstrap on Fedora.
