Created attachment 370538 [details] failing ebuild for sci-geosciences/josm-6767 Running into build issues here using the attached ebuild (the same worked for 6502). The tarball is generated using: REVISION=6767 cd /tmp mkdir -p josm-${REVISION} svn co -r ${REVISION} http://josm.openstreetmap.de/svn/trunk/ josm-${REVISION} tar -c --xz -f /usr/portage/distfiles/josm-${REVISION}.tar.xz josm-${REVISION} Any ideas, why this is happening?

There are several build errors. Upstream fixed this like in http://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/9624.
Created attachment 372328 [details] ebuild for sci-geosciences/josm-6891 Although it still displays some warnings during the build, it successfully finished and also runs.
As i can see in the splash window: You should update! 2014-03-30 (6950) - Enhancement of Align Nodes in Circle, Create Circle and Align Nodes in Line actions - Access to OSM and JOSM websites in HTTPS by default - Remote control: listen also in HTTPS on port 8112
Just bumped my ebuild to 7182 using the previously described method. It built and runs without problems so far.
Current stable version is r7347, released on 29 Jul 2014. See http://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Changelog .
I'd like to bump this at the end of the week, though I'm not in the sci-geosciences herd. I'll attach a revision I've made thatincludes a method of generating the tarball that eliminates a build-time dependency on subversion.

Thanks for your new ebuild for version 7347. I have tested it, but unfortunately, it is affected by JOSM bug #10325 (https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/10325). You should apply this patch : https://josm.openstreetmap.de/changeset/7351/josm to solve the problem.
Just committed 7347 with a patch to fix the josm bug referenced in comment #14. Thanks!
