We have,

SRC_URI="http://www.smarty.net/files/${MY_P}.tar.gz
	doc? ( http://www.smarty.net/files/docs/manual-en-${DOC_PV}.zip )"

But,

DEPEND="app-arch/unzip"

Should be an easy fix.
