Hi,

Everytime I'm going to post a version bump for any package I keep wondering under what severity level should I post it? I think adding a severity level for version bumping and new packages should improve the usability of the site. (Or at least a notice on the severities stating version bumping should go whit <insert severity level here>).

Thanks

This is more of a logic question, if you go through the new bug guided format, you'll see what explanations go with the severity level. More often than not, a user should just leave it alone. We get a lot of invalid severity mis-setting because of this.

So when in doubt or you're not sure, leave it alone.

If your concerned, leave it alone.

If you've seen this posted on bugtraq or other people having some problems, crank that severity up=)
