After upgrading to the latest gnome 3.8, I am unable to suspend or hibernate my machine from within gnome. The entries for this in gnome menu just disappeared. Manually suspend my machine with pm-suspend works fine. The only problem is, that gnome does not lock the screen after wake up (which worked with gnome 3.6). I did some reading on the net, and it may be, that gnome now uses systemd for power management. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. upgrade to gnome 3.8 without having systemd Actual Results: power management from within gnome is gone screen lock on resume gone Expected Results: working power management
